What's up all you Deviants and Deviettes? AussieDidge with another couple of updates into my life.

First, there were a few things I forgot to mention as part of my 2014 reflection, but I think I can address it now that we're well and truly into the new year.

First, about my poetry. As it stands I have about three dozen works created and available for all to check out on my page, all different aspects and opinions of life that I have lived thus far. There are still dozens more ideas yet to come to paper, and I hope that over the new year, I'll be productive enough to publish lots more works for you to enjoy.

Second, some resolutions. Now I don't exactly believe they're easy to accomplish especially since they're made at the worst possible time, I will at least try to get myself somewhat back into shape as well as succeed in my studies. As of right now, the struggles continue as I'm surrounded by heathen foods of heaven, much of which I buy myself.

Hopefully though, as I learn how to cook (another thing to learn), I'll be able to make better meals for myself so I don't have to stuff my face full of chips or Subway sandwiches or whatever.

Third, the feedback I promised to give... Yeah, I've been Major Slackass of the Lazy Army lately, having let a lot of works grow stagnant in my "To Comment On Later" folder, but slowly I'm finding a rhythm and taking the time to address people's work. That's the problem when you have to decide between writing poetry, playing games, or giving feedback... Often the games win out. =p

Part of me wishes I could write that poem that gets everybody's attention, but life isn't easy as a writer, especially when we live in the age of constant "visual self-portraits" and just visual art in general. Eh, still young, still got plenty of stories left to tell. ;)

Anyway, I may have a poem written in time for Australia Day as well as share a favourite piece of mine from "Banjo" Patterson, that I believe signifies what it means to be Australian. Hopefully you'll enjoy it in the next few days, but as of right now, I'm out. Here's to a successful and prosperous 2015! :D
