Man oh man... I really wasn't expecting to finish this quickly, but I'll tell you what, I'm definitely satisfied with what has come out.

This, as you can tell, is the place of residence for Chad Zucker, a secondary antagonist in my upcoming story Born Icon, which I plan to be uploading here in chapters when I finish off the characters, the settings and so on. Zucker, formerly a college student who harbours an immediate, immense dislike for our protagonist, Didge Jackson, has become one of the most successful heroes in the province of Icondri, during the years of Didge's arduous recovery from extreme burns at the hands of himself and his gang of criminals. His incredible success has taken him into movie roles, autograph signings and an entire brand of products labelled "Extravagance", which exemplifies his ludicrous celebrity lifestyle.

You could partially consider this as a tease for my upcoming novel... revealing a setting where one of the most fierce confrontations will take place: I won't say who it involves, not what type of conflict, but I promise it's going to be explosive. ;)

On the side, I really feel my Photoshopping skills are starting to surface and even grow, as I constantly apply the many tools available to me as well as all the wonderful patterns and other stock brought to you by the wonderful members of DeviantArt. Through their enormous work, they have provided me with great inspiration to use their work (with their permission of course) and turn it into something extraordinary... at least, that's what I am hoping for and that's what I believe I have achieved. Indeed, this project has been about a week or so in the making, for several hours a day, making all kinds of adjustments and other stuff that just needed to be done.

Before I forget, I need to sincerely thank the following people for allowing me the use of their stock for this piece. These include:

---> The "Gold" patterns created by :iconbubururesources: - They are freely available right here: [link] (You can also visit their website for more information and resources right here: [link]

---> Grand Mansion 03 stock created by :iconfuguestock: - A flawless picture that can really help your imagination bloom: [link] (Please check out his other stock, you won't be disappointed if this is what he can come up with)

---> The "Jewel" patterns created by :icondarkicedphoenix: - Try and find better jewels than these ones: [link] (Also check out their LiveJournal entry for tips on how to use the patterns effectively, at [link]

---> The "Tile" patterns as created by :iconredheadstock: - Arguably contributed towards most of the mansion looking real good, these can be found here: [link] (Don't forget to check out their website, Obsidian Dawn ([link]) where you can download and utilise a whole plethora of other patterns, brushes and shapes to suit your own needs)

---> Last but not least, "Dragon Head front view" by :iconshadowdragon22: - My god, what an amazing depiction of one of the most ferocious monsters we've ever come to imagine. It's flat-out amazing, and can be found here: [link] (Also, check out her profile page, she's one hell of a fantasy-themed artist!)

I believe that just about covers everybody... My sincerest thanks goes to you for providing such amazing tools for budding Photoshop artists like myself, to really allow my imagination to run wild. This piece wouldn't have been possible without you guys, so thanks so much. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Finally, with all that out of my system, I hope you guys enjoy this labour of love, and I will be back with more soon! In the meantime, peace! :peace:

Was writing stories before I even reached double figures in age. Granted, lot of them didn't make a lick of sense, but I guess that's how I fuelled my love for writing. Photoshopping stuff has also become pretty damn fun to do.

Just gotta keep learning and applying yourself, no matter what you do. It's perhaps the best way to feel enlightened when all's said and done. =)

It might not have made sense but at least you were writing your thoughts down and it went from there!
I agree, ps is so cool. I am trying to learn it, lol.

Damn straight! =)

And man, Photoshop (I use Elements 9.0, side info) is such an excellent program... made even better by the plethora of patterns, brushes and other goodies created by members of dA and available for download. The possibilities are endless! :o

The more you try to learn... man, the higher the quality of work you post will be. That's a guarantee.

Judging from your photos now... holy crap, they could truly become something special... the sort of thing you see in movies. =)

Well I guess with the books you'll be writing and publishing and my pictures, we are bound to meet in the middle somewhere in Hollywood, lol.
